At Groomy Paws, our journey began with love💝

My name is Tracy 💁🏻‍♀️

Before entering the pet grooming industry, I spent over 12 years working in early childhood education, as well as working as a piano tutor. My career has always been centred around care ,nurturing children, 
understanding their emotions, and always prioritising their wellbeing.

My journey into pet grooming began through a 
personal observation. After grooming appointments, 
I noticed my beloved dog would return home with a 
reduced appetite and appeared more anxious and unsettled than usual. As a pet owner, this deeply concerned me.

I knew there had to be a better way.

This inspired me to learn pet grooming myself , not only as a skill, but as a way to better protect my dog and reduce the stress and discomfort associated with the grooming process. What began as a personal necessity gradually developed into a genuine passion. Over the past 10 years, alongside my teaching career, I have continued to groom pets 
part-time, always guided by empathy, patience, and care.

Four years ago, my son and I moved from Hong Kong to the UK to begin a new chapter in our lives. Since then, I have been working part-time in a nursery while continuing my pet grooming practice.

Now, I am ready to follow my heart fully.

Groomy Paws is more than a grooming service , it is built on love, patience, and understanding. My mission is to provide a calm, safe, and low-stress grooming experience for every dog, just as I once wished for my own.

Because to me, they are not just pets , they are family.
